About Dr. Nicole Apollon-Chirouze (‘Dr. AC’)
I grew up on the East Coast in Maryland and slowly made my way westward. Along the journey, I fell in love with the beauty of Oregon and am proud to have called Portland home for over a decade.
I graduated from Princeton University in Economics. I have a Master’s in Public Health from Drexel University in Philadelphia. I earned my Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Case Western Reserve School of Dental Medicine.
Most recently, I earned the Mastership of the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD) – a distinction held by only 2% of dentists nationwide. This prestigious designation represents over 1,100 hours of advanced continuing education across all disciplines of dentistry and reflects my commitment to staying at the forefront of dental innovation and excellence – for the benefit of every patient I treat.
I am passionate about dentistry and always looking for ways to improve my skills and knowledge. I take many continuing education courses in implants, orthodontics, periodontics, and cosmetic techniques. I previously served as the Clinical Director of the Oregon Academy of General Dentistry (ORAGD) Mastertrack Program, and currently serve on the Continuing Education Committee for the ORAGD.
Beyond the clinical work, I truly enjoy the personal relationships that naturally form from caring for patients over time. My goal is to create a space where patients feel heard, understood, and empowered in their oral health.
When I’m not in the office, you’ll likely find me spending time with my family, baking, cooking, gardening, hiking, or catching an indie film – soaking in all that the Pacific Northwest and Montavilla – have to offer.
